Triple-silver Low-E Insulated Glass consists of three glass panes separated by two insulating cavities. Compared with standard double-glazed insulating glass, it adds one more glass pane and one additional cavity, increasing the resistance to heat transfer through the glazing system. This structure helps reduce heat transfer between the indoor and outdoor environments and improves overall thermal insulation. The product is well suited to buildings in very hot or cold climates and to projects with demanding energy-efficiency requirements. For standard configurations, the K-value is typically around 1.6–2.0. When Low-E coatings and argon gas are used, the K-value can be reduced to approximately 1.0–1.5, providing a high level of thermal insulation. The product also offers good sound insulation, with sound reduction of approximately 37–42 dB, which can be 5–10 dB better than some double-glazed configurations. It can effectively reduce medium- and high-frequency noise, helping create quieter indoor spaces in buildings near busy roads. In cold climates, the improved thermal performance can also reduce the risk of condensation forming around the edges of the glass.
