Curved Tempered Glass
Strong Curves for Modern Architecture
Curved Tempered Glass is also known as positive-arc curved glass. We heat flat glass until it reaches a softened state. We then bend it into an arc using a computer-controlled mold. After forming, we cool the glass rapidly with air to create the required tempered properties. This process combines the curved appearance of heat-bent glass with the strength and safety characteristics of tempered glass. It is an important material for modern buildings that require curved architectural designs. Our factory is equipped with advanced bending and tempering machines. These machines use specialized control systems to produce accurate and smooth curves. We also use precise temperature control and optimized process settings to reduce wave distortion. This helps provide better optical clarity through the glass. Our Curved Tempered Glass has a bending strength 4–5 times that of ordinary annealed glass. When it breaks, it forms small, relatively blunt particles, which helps improve safety. The curved shape can also distribute wind loads across the glass surface, making it suitable for architectural applications where curved glass is required.
Expertise You Can Trust
We have extensive experience in curved glass production. Since 2009, we have produced many types of single-curved and double-curved glass for special architectural applications. Our engineers carefully review each drawing before production. They develop a detailed processing plan based on the required shape, dimensions, and technical specifications. Our Curved Tempered Glass has been used in well-known projects, including the Shanghai International Circuit and Jiangsu Grand Theatre. We have the production equipment and technical expertise needed to provide high-quality curved glass for different project requirements. Our service covers process planning, production tracking, and quality inspection to ensure that each production step meets the required specifications.
