Striped Frosted Glass

Striped Frosted Glass combines digital printing technology with a controlled frosted finish. Our industrial printer applies specially formulated ceramic ink or coating to selected areas of the glass. By adjusting the printing density and coverage, we can create different levels of light diffusion and transparency. After printing, the glass is fired at approximately 600–700°C to permanently fuse the ceramic coating with the glass surface.

This process gives designers much more control than traditional full-surface frosting methods. We can create localized frosted areas, gradual transitions, and gradient effects within the same glass panel. The transition can range from relatively clear areas to highly frosted sections. We can also reproduce decorative textures inspired by snow, ice crystals, silk, and other natural surfaces. These effects add visual depth while maintaining the functional benefits of frosted glass.

We can also produce a reverse frosted effect. In this design, the printed coating is applied to the back surface while the front surface remains smooth. This creates a frosted visual effect while maintaining a smooth exterior surface that is easier to maintain. Our Striped Frosted Glass combines privacy, light diffusion, and decorative flexibility for modern architectural designs.

Our Striped Frosted Glass can be tempered for improved strength and safety. It can also be further processed into laminated or insulating glass units when the project requires additional safety, sound insulation, or thermal performance. Common applications include office partitions, hotel interiors, commercial spaces, decorative windows, building facades, and other areas where privacy and visual design need to work together.
